70: Leonardo Pavoletti bicycle kick goal vs Sassuolo
Simply stunning goal. Video source: Serie A
If there is an award for the most CLUTCH football player to ever walk the planet, it would be Leonardo Pavoletti. He always appears in the late moments of the game and scores, sometimes in extraordinary fashion, including a goal to send Cagliari to the Serie A. This bicycle kick goal he scored against Sassuolo to win the game at minute 99 needs to be hung in the Louvre.
69: Di marco goal vs Frosinone
This one, even more beautiful. Video source: Serie A
There have been many incredible goals scored in the Serie A this season, including Inter left back Federico Di marco's belter. Receiving the ball more than 50 yards from goal on the left flank, Dimarco unleashes a beautiful strike into the top right corner. Definitely a Puskas contender.
68: Porto 5-0 Benfica
The O Classico is one of the world's biggest football rivalries. Porto and Benfica are two of the 'Big Three' in Portugal, which also includes league champions Sporting CP. This match was one of the largest wins for both sides in O Classico history. Porto banged five in past Roger Schmidt's Benfica. Galeno scored two, Wendell one, Pepê (not that Pepe) one, and Danny Loader one. Yes, even Loader scored. The goal he scored in O Classico turned out to be his only league goal of the season. This is football heritage.
67: Danilho Doekhi 45+25 goal
Yep, you read that right. 45+25. 25 minutes of stoppage time in the first half. How many stoppage must there be for the game to halt for 25 minutes? Is there some sort of serious injury? Nope, it's because of tennis balls. German football fans protested the DFL's decision to sell a stake in its media rights to an outside investor. They threw tennis balls on the pitch. And it's been happening in many German games this season as well. With the game already halted for 20 minutes, this goal might be the latest first-half goal ever.
66: Bruma goal vs Union
This goal by Bruma in the Champions League was an absolute beauty. A floater corner to the outside of the D fell to Bruma after a cut back. The rest is history. Bruma unleashed a peach of a strike first-time into the top right corner. One of the goals of the season no doubt. He did the Nukunudekundu (Nkunku, sorry, practicing my Todd Boehly accent) balloon celebration as well.
65: Athletic Club wins Copa Del Rey

Ernesto Valverde's Athletic Club team this season has been something special. A team full of young stars like Sancet and Guruzeta, experienced players like Ander Herrera, Raul Garcia, and Muniain, and the iconic Williams brothers. They qualified for next season's UEFA Europa League, as well as won a trophy in the Copa Del Rey. They beat Barcleona 4-2 and Atletico Madrid 4-0 over two legs. Four nil against Atleti is absolutely astonishing. This Athletic team absolutely deserved it, considering their Basque-only transfer policy.
64: Getafe kung fu right flank vs Rayo Vallecano - 3 red cards
Before you ask, Mason Greenwood is one of the THREE sent off. The others are Jumani Latasa and Damian Suarez. All three on the right flank as well. I don't think we saw three red cards for the same team in a single match very often. Last time I checked Fulham got three reds against Man United in the FA Cup, and one of them was the manager Marco Silva. The other two is Willian and Aleksandar Mitrovic. Classic cult football.
63: Andre Onana butter fingers in the Champions League
Andre Onana was bought this season by Manchester United to replace David de Gea for $51m, but it looked like he was equivalent of la ka ka as a goalkeeper in the first half of the season. Onana made a terrible mistake against Bayern letting in a tame shot by Leroy Sane roll into the net; he made a distribution mistake against Galatasaray that led to Casemiro's red card. The best mistakes by Onana was at the reverse fixture with Galatasaray, where he failed to stop two Hakim Ziyech free kicks that were shot right at him. He's improved massively in the second half of the season, but Onana in the Champions League was pure comedy gold.
62: Parma promotion to Serie A
Parma is a club that has rich history in Italian football. Their 1998/99 team contained Gianluigi Baffon, Dino Baggio, Hernan Crespo, Juan Sebastian Veron, Fabio Canavarro, Enrico Chiesa, and Lilian Thuram. This 23/24 team dominated the Serie B and will surely cook in Serie A (but I hope Como do better lol). They have a few players that they can build their future onto, like Adrian Bernabe, Adrian Benedyczak, Yoan Bonny, and Enrico Del Prato. If anyone is interested in doing a Parma career, you have these gems plus some experienced players like Cristian Ansaldi, Wylan Cyprien, and Dennis Man. I'm sticking with my Como career though.
(Sorry I haven't posted my Como career lately, you can follow it on my Sofifa account GoalmachineCutrone. I will try to post articles about my career here later)
61: Olympiacos win the Conference League

20 years after the original Greek fairy tale EURO 2004 win, there has been another Greek fairytale in an UEFA club competition. Olympiacos has won the UEFA Europa Conference League. Their journey to get there is out of this world. After finishing third in their Europa League group, Olympiacos knocked out Ferencvaros 2-0 in the Conference League knockout round playoffs. Against Israeli side Maccabi Tel Aviv, Olympiacos recovered from a 1-4 defeat to win the second leg 1-6 in extra time. Yes, 1-6. They beat Turkish giants Fenerbahce in a penalty shootout after a 3-3 tie over two legs. Then, Aston Villa. Olympiacos beat Villa 6-2, and striker Ayoub El Kaabi activated Benzema Mode, where he scored five goals over two legs against Villa. In the final against Fiorentina, El Kaabi headed in arguably the second biggest goal in Greek football history (after the Charisteas goal), and immortalized himself at the OPAP Arena. This was the first time a Greek club had won a major European trophy. What a fairytale.
The series will continue from June 3rd to June 12th, and each article will contain 10 moments. Stay tuned for more of the greatest (and worst) moments of the 2023/24 world football season!
